Our SPICY BLEND allows you to grow a fiery microgreen mix that's bursting with flavour! Blended into one seedmat, this blend will grow a peppery crop of freshness from a curated combination of Rocket, Mustard and Red Mizuna.
Not only will you get a flavour bomb, you'll also have a beautiful medley of colour; fresh, deep greens and a pop of purple from the Red Mizuna.
FLAVOUR:
Rocket brings a sharp pepperiness , while Mustard offers an intense kick with wasabi undertones, and Red Mizuna ties it all together with it's softer, mellow gentle freshness.
USE ME IN:
Perfect to add to salads with the layers of different flavours. Great as a garnish for casseroles, soups, stews and pot pies.
Bonus: A little goes a long way! You’ll only need to add a small amount to your meals to enjoy the flavour.

This blend is high in antioxidants, as well as vitamins A and C, which reduce inflammation and protect healthy cells throughout the digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular and nervous systems.

FAQs
What is the optimum growing temperature?
Microgreens can be grown indoors all year round and temperature plays a major role in how quickly microgreens grow.
Generally, between 18–24 degrees celcius is optimal.
Below 12 degrees and the microgreens will struggle to germinate and above 25 degrees they're may get too hot and start "cooking" the seeds.
Do the microgreens re-grow once harvested?
Each seedmat is single-use and will not re-grow once harvested. When you have finished a mat, you'll need to start a new seedmat.
Pod tip: you can throw the used mat into your garden and you'll soon find vegetables will start popping up from the slower growing seeds!
Can I use my own seeds?
Our seedmats come pre-loaded with over 440 microgreen seeds per mat as well as a touch of plant nutrients to help them grow lush and tasty. Because they are already seeded, you can't currently use your own seeds.
However, we are working on a growing medium which will allow you to do this - so watch this space!
Are your microgreen seeds organic?
Currently, the Rocket and the Broccoli are the only certified organic seed variety. All the other seed varieties are untreated and non-GMO.
First sheet of seeds did not grow at all but have had good success with second one
So easy!
Recently rediscovered our micropod and some expired seeds mats. They grew but not as well as we expected-probably due to age, Decided to buy some new seed mats and wow they are amazing-literally seem to grow before our eyes.. Have added them to all sorts of food and they are yummy.
I am very much loving the flavour of the spicy blend and the freshness I am getting form growing my own micro greens
