No mess salad

Loving the continuous grow kit. Fresh and tasty greens for garnish and to add to herbs in my salads. And they look so cute on my sunny kitchen shelf.

Micropod Review

I purchased the Micropod Continuous Grow Kit recently , and saw in the Facebook comment section that people were having hit and miss issues with the seedmats.
Of course this was worrisome , however the issue is more to do with expectation as opposed to the upkeep.
There is a measure on the side of the Micropod telling you how much water to use. After realising it wasn't enough water to soak the mat or germinate the seed, I soon saw where the hit and miss issues arose.

So here's a tip which will help your germination and growth rates:

When using the Micropod for the first time , follow instructions until it comes to adding water : Add water until the seed mat just lifts ~ then keep an eye on the water level : Keeping the seed mat moist while those seeds germinate and produce roots right through to harvesting is key!
You DO have to top them up, You DO have to check them daily , and give them sun. Your hit and miss issues should evaporate ( not the water supply!)

Great growing with a conscience

I gave this as a gift, but I know it has worked beautifully and I love the environmental philosophy of the company as well.

Great idea, very disappointing results

After growing microgreens in my vegepod, I decided to buy one of these kits. I purchased the Continuous Grow Kit and can only describe my experience as very disappointing. I followed the instructions exactly getting it set up - tricky with mats and very sparse results. Later additions are no better. Very disappointed customer.
